Seeking vs Secret Benefits: Two Different Sites (2026)
"Seeking Benefits" isn't one site. Seeking (formerly Seeking Arrangement) charges monthly subscriptions; Secret Benefits sells credits. Here's how the two compare, and which one is less bad.
Seeking and Secret Benefits are two of the best-known sugar dating sites, and they charge in completely different ways. Seeking sells subscriptions: Premium is $109.99 for 30 days and Diamond $274.99. Secret Benefits sells credit packs from $59 for 100. If you'll open only a handful of conversations a month, Secret Benefits usually costs less. If you'll open many, a flat subscription usually wins.

If you're shopping for a sugar dating site, Seeking and Secret Benefits are probably the two names you keep seeing. They're often mentioned in the same breath, and plenty of people even blend the names into one. They're not the same company, and they don't work the same way. Which one suits you depends mostly on how many people you plan to talk to.
"Seeking Benefits"? Seeking and Secret Benefits are two different sites
A lot of people search for "Seeking Benefits" or "seekingbenefits." As of October 2026 we could not find a dating site by that name. The search usually means one of two separate sites:
- Seeking (seeking.com), formerly SeekingArrangement. It launched in 2006 and renamed itself Seeking in a February 2022 rebrand. It charges monthly subscriptions.
- Secret Benefits, a different site, which sells credit packs instead of a subscription.
An account on one is not an account on the other. The rest of this page compares the two.

How the pricing models work
This is the biggest difference between the two, and each model has its own catch.
Seeking's subscription model
Per DatingScout, with pricing updated September 20, 2026, Premium costs $109.99 for 30 days or $289.99 for 90 days (about $96.66 a month), and Diamond costs $274.99 for 30 days. DatingScout says sugar daddies need to upgrade before sending messages, though free members can read the first messages in their inbox.
DatingScout lists these among Premium's features: more privacy options, read receipts, inbox filters, no ads and advanced search filters. Diamond adds a badge and higher placement in search, and, per the same review, verification of identity and net worth. To qualify, DatingScout says you should have been on Premium for at least two months and pass a background check. Our Seeking Premium vs Diamond guide goes through the gap in detail.
The catch is renewal. DatingScout says subscriptions renew automatically, that you need to opt out a week before renewal, that uninstalling the app doesn't cancel, and that refunds are usually partial. Seeking's own terms say a terminated member isn't entitled to a refund of unused subscription fees. Over twelve months at the monthly rate, Premium comes to $1,319.88 and Diamond to $3,299.88. Secret Benefits' credit model
Per DatingScout's cost page, updated September 20, 2026, Secret Benefits sells 100 credits for $59, 500 for $169 and 1,000 for $289. There's no subscription, and DatingScout says credits don't expire.
DatingScout and VidaSelect both report that unlocking a conversation with a new person costs 10 credits. That's about $5.90 a conversation on the smallest pack and $2.89 on the largest. Other paid extras, like unlocking someone's private album or boosting your profile, draw on the same balance. Searching, browsing, likes and seeing who viewed or favorited you are free, per DatingScout; sending and reading messages aren't.
The catch is predictability. You don't know what a month will cost until you've lived it, and extras compete for the same credits. Our Secret Benefits review runs the numbers in more detail.
Which model costs less?
Count how many new conversations you'll realistically start in a month. At about $5.90 each on a 100-credit pack, ten conversations cost $59. Seeking Premium costs $109.99 whether you start two conversations or fifty. So in our opinion, a man who writes to a few carefully chosen people will usually spend less on Secret Benefits, and a man who writes to many will usually get more for his money from a flat price.
Size: who has more people?
Seeking says it has more than 40 million registered accounts. That's Seeking's own figure, and registered accounts aren't the same as active people; DatingScout's own review lists several different member numbers for the site, which tells you how soft these headline figures are. We couldn't find a Secret Benefits member figure we'd trust.
What matters is how many real, recently active profiles you see in your city and the cities you travel to. Both sites let you browse free, so check that yourself for a few days before you pay either one.
Verification: what each one checks
Per DatingScout's October 2026 review, Seeking requires email and offers selfie verification, an ID check and a third-party background check as options. Seeking's own FAQ, read October 2026, says background checks are available only to members in the United States. Diamond's identity and net-worth verification is the closest thing either site has to an income check, and it's tied to the top tier.
For Secret Benefits, VidaSelect (updated October 16, 2026) describes email and phone as required and video verification as optional, earning a badge. DatingScout lists more steps and says men skip some of them. Neither source says Secret Benefits verifies income.
Practically, treat any income figure on either site as a claim. A verification badge tells you one thing was checked once; it doesn't tell you anything about intentions.
Fake profiles and scams
Both sites draw the same complaint. On Trustpilot in October 2026, Seeking had a TrustScore of 1.6 from 41 reviews and Secret Benefits 1.6 from 980. Reviewers on both pages frequently mention fake or scam profiles. On Seeking, many also complain about suspensions soon after paying and about billing and refunds. On Secret Benefits, a common complaint is paying credits to open conversations that never go anywhere. Trustpilot doesn't verify reviews, and unhappy people post more than happy ones, so read the themes rather than the score.

Apps and mobile
Per DatingScout (October 2026), Seeking isn't available on iOS after Apple removed it from the App Store, and its Android app is on Google Play. iPhone users use seeking.com in Safari. More in our guide to the Seeking app on iPhone.
Secret Benefits has no native iOS or Android app, per both DatingScout and VidaSelect. You use the mobile site, which DatingScout says offers the same functions as the desktop version.
Arranged is also a web app rather than an App Store listing: you add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it opens in its own window.
So which one should you use?
For men:
In our opinion, Seeking if you want the biggest name and plan to message a lot, and you're comfortable with $109.99 a month. Secret Benefits if you'll write to a handful of people and dislike recurring billing. Neither verifies income routinely.
For women:
Seeking lets women message free, and VidaSelect reports Secret Benefits is free for women. Browse both and go where the profiles near you look real and recently active.
A third option:
Arranged charges men a flat $49.99 a month to message, and women are free. Browsing full profiles, likes, matches and seeing who liked you are free for everyone. We're much smaller than Seeking, and photo verification is optional.
Since browsing is free on all three, the sensible move is to spend a week looking before paying anywhere, and then pay where the replies are. Whatever you pick, read the renewal and refund terms first.
How Arranged compares, briefly

Do either have an iPhone app?
