Secret Benefits Review (October 2026): What the Credits Actually Buy
Secret Benefits sells credits, not subscriptions. Here is what they cost as of October 2026, what you spend them on, how verification works, and who the model actually suits.
As of October 2026, Secret Benefits sells credits instead of a monthly plan: 100 credits for $59, 500 for $169 or 1,000 for $289, per DatingScout. In our opinion it is a good deal if you message a handful of people and a poor one if you message a lot.
We run Arranged, a competitor, so weigh this accordingly. Every fact about Secret Benefits below is dated and sourced so you can check it yourself.
Secret Benefits sells 100 credits for $59. Opening a conversation with someone new reportedly costs 10 of them. So before you buy anything, the real question is how many people you plan to talk to, because that number decides whether this site is cheap or expensive for you.
We run Arranged, a competitor, so weigh this accordingly. We have tried to write the review we would want to read if we were choosing between the two: what is reported, where it comes from, and where we are giving you an opinion rather than a fact.
One note on sources. Secret Benefits' own site blocked the tools we used to check it in October 2026, so the prices and features below come from third-party reviewers, named each time. Check the live site before you pay, because credit prices on sites like this do change.
How Secret Benefits pricing works in October 2026
There is no subscription. You buy a pack of credits once and spend them on paid actions until they run out.
Per DatingScout's Secret Benefits cost page, which says its prices were last updated on September 20, 2026, the packs are:
- 100 credits for $59.00, about 59 cents a credit
- 500 credits for $169.00, about 34 cents a credit
- 1,000 credits for $289.00, about 29 cents a credit
DatingScout's October 2026 review adds that credits do not expire and there is no recurring billing. That matters. If you buy a pack and then get busy for three months, nothing is lost and nothing renews behind your back.
The same cost page says payments are taken by Visa, Mastercard or Bitcoin, and that the charge may appear on your statement as "CCBill", the payment processor, rather than as Secret Benefits. It also describes refunds as generally partial, with used credits deducted.
What costs credits on Secret Benefits
This is where the math gets real. DatingScout's October 2026 review says premium actions cost 10 credits each, and that unlocking a conversation with a new person is one of them. VidaSelect's Secret Benefits review, updated October 16, 2026, reports the same 10 credits to unlock a conversation and describes it as a one-time charge per person.
Reported paid actions, as of October 2026:
- Unlocking a conversation with a new person: 10 credits, per both DatingScout and VidaSelect.
- Requesting access to someone's private "Secret Album": 10 credits per album, per VidaSelect.
- A profile boost for top placement: VidaSelect reports 20 credits for three days.
- Bidding to be someone's "Top Admirer": DatingScout says this takes at least 50 credits.
Free, per DatingScout's cost page: creating an account, searching, browsing profiles, match suggestions, liking profiles, seeing who viewed or favorited you, and saving favorites. Sending and reading messages are not free.
The math on ten conversations
Take those reported numbers at face value. With the smallest pack, 100 credits gets you about ten unlocked conversations, which works out to roughly $5.90 per person you talk to. With the largest pack, 1,000 credits covers about 100 conversations at roughly $2.89 each.
That is before Secret Albums, boosts or bids, which draw from the same balance. If you like to unlock albums before deciding whether to write, plan on spending credits faster than the "ten conversations" figure suggests.
For comparison, and this is our own pricing, not theirs: Arranged Premium is $49.99 a month for unlimited messaging. If you open fewer than about eight new conversations a month, the smallest Secret Benefits pack is likely to cost you less. If you open many more than that, a flat monthly plan almost certainly wins.
Is Secret Benefits free for women?
VidaSelect's October 2026 review says sugar babies use the platform at no cost. DatingScout's review does not say either way, and we could not confirm it on Secret Benefits' own site.
So the honest answer is: reportedly yes for women joining as sugar babies, but check at signup. If you are a woman and the site asks you for credits to reply to someone, that is worth knowing before you build a profile.
On Arranged, for what it is worth, side is set by gender. Women are free and men pay to message. Men seeking men both pay; women seeking women are both free.
Secret Benefits verification options
Here the sources disagree on the details, so we will give you both.
DatingScout's October 2026 review lists email verification, an SMS code, a manually reviewed selfie and a live video selfie as part of signup. It also says men joining as sugar daddies have fewer requirements and skip the photo, SMS and video steps. DatingScout's page is not fully consistent on this point: its FAQ says no phone number is needed.
VidaSelect, updated October 16, 2026, describes email and phone verification as required and video verification as optional, earning a verified badge.
Neither source says Secret Benefits verifies income, identity documents or background. That is normal for the category. Arranged does not verify income either. Our photo verification is optional and reviewed by a person, verified profiles get a badge, and email verification is required before anyone can message.
In our opinion, the most useful thing to take from the sources is the asymmetry. If the man's side has lighter checks than the woman's, women should assume less about a sugar daddy profile than its polish suggests. DatingScout's own list of cons includes men posing as sugar daddies on the site. Our guide on how to verify a sugar daddy is real applies here as it does anywhere.
Secret Benefits app vs website
As of October 2026, both DatingScout and VidaSelect say Secret Benefits has no native iOS or Android app. You use it through a mobile browser, which DatingScout says offers the same functions as the desktop site.
In practice that is less of a drawback than it sounds. A browser site does not show up on your home screen, and some people prefer that. It does mean no push notifications in the usual sense, so replies can sit unseen for longer.
What Secret Benefits does well
We said we would be fair, so here is the case for it.
- The credit model is honest about one thing: you only pay when you act. If you are not using it, you are not paying for it.
- Credits reportedly do not expire, per DatingScout. A lot of subscription sites quietly bill you for months you barely open the app.
- It is one of the better-known names in the category, so in our opinion you are likely to see more profiles there than on a small site like ours.
- DatingScout's October 2026 review praises its customer support as responsive.
- Secret Albums give women a way to control who sees which photos, which some people genuinely want.
Where we think it falls short
These are opinions, and you should treat them that way.
Per-conversation pricing changes how you behave. When every new conversation costs credits, it is natural to hesitate before writing to someone you are only mildly curious about. Some men will see that as discipline. We think it makes a site feel like a meter is running.
Paid extras compete for the same balance. Albums, boosts and Top Admirer bids all draw from your credits, so it is hard to know in advance what a month of real use will cost. A flat price is easier to plan around.
The verification picture is murky. Two reputable-looking reviewers describe different requirements, and DatingScout's own page contradicts itself. We would like to see Secret Benefits publish exactly what each badge means, in one place.
For a longer side-by-side, see our Secret Benefits vs Arranged comparison and Seeking vs Secret Benefits. Those were written earlier in 2026, so check their dates against the prices here.
Who Secret Benefits suits
In our opinion, Secret Benefits is a good choice if:
- You are a man who wants to message a small number of carefully chosen people, not cast a wide net.
- You dislike subscriptions and want to pay once and dip in when you feel like it.
- You want the bigger pool that comes with a better-known name and do not mind paying per conversation for it.
It is probably a worse fit if:
- You plan to start lots of conversations every month. Per-person pricing adds up quickly at volume.
- You want to know exactly what a month will cost before it starts.
- You care about clear, consistent verification rules on both sides.
How Arranged is different (briefly)
We will keep this short, since it is our own product. Arranged charges men a flat monthly price to message: Premium is $49.99 a month or $499 a year, and Diamond, which adds private browsing, hidden read receipts and last seen, priority placement and a badge, is $99.99 a month or $999 a year. Browsing full profiles with full photos, liking, matching and seeing who liked you are free for everyone.
We are smaller than the big names, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we focus on is cutting down the junk: phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram and other contact details are blocked in messages until the other person has replied, copy-paste mass messages are blocked, and accounts that keep trying get suspended automatically. Distance is a tiebreaker in matching rather than a gate, since plenty of people fly each other out.
