What Arranged Costs in 2026 (And What a Membership Actually Buys)
Browsing is free and always will be. Messaging is what you pay for. Here is the whole pricing model, what each tier adds, and when it is not worth it.
Attractive members pay nothing, ever. Successful members browse every profile in full for free and pay to send messages: Premium is $49.99 a month, Diamond is $99.99 a month or $999 a year.
No credits, no per-message charges, no paying to see who is behind a blurred photo. Below: exactly what is free, exactly what a membership adds, the difference between the two paid tiers, and the case for not buying one.
Most sugar dating sites are deliberately vague about money, which is a strange choice for an industry built on being direct about it. You sign up, you browse, and somewhere around the fourth click something greys out and a modal appears. Nobody told you the price beforehand because the price is easier to accept once you have already found someone you want to talk to.
We would rather just tell you.
What does Arranged cost?
There are three tiers and only two of them cost anything.
Free. Create a profile, browse the entire member base with full photos and full details, receive messages, and reply to nobody. That last part is the catch and we will come back to it.
Premium, $49.99 a month. Unlimited messaging, unblurred photos everywhere, and see who liked you.
Diamond, $99.99 a month, or $999 a year. Everything in Premium, plus priority placement in Discover, private browsing, and the full set of privacy controls.
Attractive members are not on this list because they are not charged. That is not a launch promotion or a trial. It is the model, and it is the same model every serious platform in this category runs, for the unglamorous reason that a marketplace only works if the scarce side has no reason to leave.
What is actually free on Arranged?
More than you would expect, because we changed it recently.
Every profile is fully visible to a free account. Photos are not blurred. Cities, ages, occupations, what someone is looking for, what they are offering, all of it renders the same whether you are paying or not. You can spend a week reading the entire member base and never see a paywall.
You can also receive messages and read them. If an attractive member writes to you first, that conversation is sitting in your inbox whether you have paid or not.
What you cannot do on a free account is send. That is the line, and it is the only line.
It used to be softer. Free accounts got one opening message per conversation, which sounded generous and worked badly for everyone. It was enough rope to send a bad first message to forty people and conclude the app does not work, and it meant the one thing worth charging for was being given away in the exact quantity required to never need a membership.
Why do you pay to message and not to browse?
Because browsing is not the valuable part, and charging for it makes the product worse.
A platform that blurs photos until you pay is asking you to buy a lottery ticket. You cannot tell whether the person behind the blur is worth $49.99 until after you have spent it, which means the sale depends on you not knowing what you are buying. That model converts well and produces refund requests, chargebacks, and the kind of reviews that Seeking has accumulated for years.
Charging for messages inverts it. You see everything first. You decide whether there is anyone here you actually want to talk to. Only then does the price come up, and by that point you are not buying access to a mystery, you are buying a conversation with a specific person you have already read about.
It is also the honest read on where the cost sits. Serving profile pages is cheap. Moderating conversations, verifying people, and keeping the message system free of scripts is the expensive part, and it scales with messages sent rather than pages viewed.
Premium or Diamond?
Premium is the one most members should buy. Unlimited messaging is the thing you came for, and $49.99 is the price of that.
Diamond earns the extra $50 in two situations. The first is visibility: Diamond profiles are pinned above the standard ordering in Discover, which matters in a dense market like Miami or New York where the person you want to reach has a lot of profiles to scroll past. In a thinner market it matters much less, because you were going to be seen anyway.
The second is privacy, and this is the one people underrate. Diamond includes private browsing, hiding your last-seen and read receipts, hiding your income, and keeping yourself out of search. If you are recognisable in your city, or you would simply rather your dating life not be legible to anyone who happens to look, that is what the tier is for. We wrote about why this matters more in this category than most in our guide to privacy in sugar dating.
If neither of those describes you, Premium is not a downgrade. It is the right product.
How does that compare to other platforms?
Broadly: similar monthly price, different structure.
Seeking's premium tiers land in the same range, but a chunk of the experience is gated behind them in ways ours is not, and the platform is known for account actions that leave members paying for something they can no longer use. We covered that pattern in detail in what happens when you are charged after a ban.
Secret Benefits and WhatsYourPrice run on credits, which is a genuinely different model rather than a cheaper one. Credits look inexpensive at the point of purchase and get expensive the moment the platform starts working for you, because every conversation you are enjoying is metered. A busy month on a credit system costs more than $99.99 and does not feel like it until the third top-up.
For a fuller picture across the category, our side-by-side cost comparison covers sixteen apps, and what "free" actually means is worth reading before trusting anyone's free tier, including ours.
Is a membership worth it?
Only if you are going to use it, which sounds obvious and is the thing most people get wrong.
The membership buys conversations. If you are the sort of person who will write ten thoughtful first messages in a month, it is inexpensive relative to a single dinner. If you are going to buy it, send three messages that say "hey", get no replies, and cancel in week two, you have not bought a membership, you have bought a mild disappointment.
The free tier exists precisely so you can find out which one you are before paying. Browse for a week. See whether there are ten people you genuinely want to talk to in your city. If there are not, do not buy anything, and check back when the market has grown. If there are, the maths is not complicated.
Our honest cost-benefit breakdown for the whole arrangement, not just the app fee, is in is being a sugar daddy worth it.
Can you cancel?
Yes, from settings, at any time, and it takes about ten seconds. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for and you are not charged again. There is no retention flow designed to be confusing, no phone call, and no offer you have to decline three times.
We are aware this is a low bar. It is also the single most common complaint about the platforms in this category, which is why it is worth stating.
Frequently asked questions
Is Arranged free for sugar babies?
Yes, completely and permanently. Attractive members create a profile, browse, message anyone without limits, and use every feature at no cost. There is no premium tier being held back from them and no point at which they are asked to pay. The platform is funded by successful members.
Can I browse Arranged without paying?
Yes. A free account sees every profile in full, with unblurred photos and complete details, and can read messages it receives. Sending is the only thing a membership unlocks. You can evaluate the entire member base in your city before deciding whether it is worth paying for.
How much is Arranged Premium?
$49.99 a month, which covers unlimited messaging, unblurred photos, and seeing who liked you. Diamond is $99.99 a month or $999 annually and adds priority placement in Discover plus the full privacy suite, including private browsing and hidden last-seen.
Does Arranged use credits or charge per message?
No. Membership is a flat monthly subscription with unlimited messaging. We avoided the credit model deliberately: it punishes the members who are getting the most out of the platform and makes every conversation feel metered, which is the opposite of what anyone is here for.
Why did Arranged stop giving free members an opening message?
Because it served nobody well. It was enough to send a weak first message to a large number of people and conclude the platform does not work, and it gave away the only thing the membership is for. Free accounts now get more than they did in every other respect, including full unblurred profiles, and sending is the single thing behind the paywall.
Is there a free trial?
Not in the countdown-timer sense. The free tier is the trial and it does not expire: browse the full member base for as long as you like before paying anything. We would rather you spend a week deciding there is nobody here for you than buy a month and feel misled.
