How we keep Arranged safe.

You are meeting people you don't know yet. Here is what the platform does to protect you, and what you can do too.

What the platform does

Optional live-selfie verification

Take a live selfie with your camera. A third-party service checks it automatically for a real face and apparent age; a person on our team looks only when it flags a possible minor. The selfie is not stored. A badge means a real person passed that check. It does not confirm identity or income, and it is not compared to profile photos, so a video call before meeting is still worth it.

Contact details wait for a reply

Phone numbers, emails, payment handles and other apps are blocked in messages until the other person has written back. Someone who keeps trying across several conversations in a day is suspended automatically.

No copy-paste blasts

The same long message sent to many people in a day is refused. Messages containing escort or solicitation terms are held for review instead of delivered.

Photos are screened

Every uploaded photo is scanned automatically. Some are refused, and some are hidden until a person reviews them.

Block and report

Block anyone from their profile or your conversation. Blocking ends the match, removes likes both ways and stops messages in both directions. Report a profile for a fake profile, harassment, inappropriate content, a scam, someone underage or human trafficking; reports go to our team.

Privacy controls

Any member can hide their profile. Premium adds hide-from-search and hidden income. Diamond adds private browsing and hidden read receipts and last seen.

Tips for meeting in person

  • Meet in public. Choose a restaurant, hotel lobby or coffee shop for a first meeting. Never a private place.
  • Tell someone. Let a friend know where you're going, who you're meeting and when you'll be back. Share your live location if you can.
  • Get yourself there. Drive yourself or take a rideshare, especially the first time.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
  • Never send money. Anyone asking for a deposit, a fee, gift cards or a "verification payment" is running a scam. Report them.
  • Video chat first. A short call before meeting confirms the person matches their photos.
  • Keep details private. Hold back your home address and workplace until you know someone.

Community guidelines

Arranged is for consenting adults, 18 and over. We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment, threats or abusive behavior
  • Solicitation of prostitution or escort services
  • Fraud, scams or financial exploitation
  • Fake profiles or impersonation
  • Sharing explicit content without consent
  • Anyone under 18
  • Drug solicitation or other illegal activity

Serious violations lead to suspension and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement. Automated checks suspend repeat contact and spam offenders, and our team reviews reports and flagged messages. Full rules are in our acceptable use policy.

Report exploitation

Arranged has zero tolerance for human trafficking, sexual exploitation or abuse. If you suspect someone is being trafficked or exploited, report it now:

Our compliance commitment

Arranged complies with FOSTA and SESTA. Messages are screened for solicitation terms, flagged messages are held for human review, and we cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

Content that promotes or facilitates sex trafficking, prostitution, escort services or exploitation is prohibited and leads to account termination and referral to authorities.
