Seeking Premium vs Diamond: $109.99 vs $274.99

Seeking's Diamond tier costs $274.99 a month. Premium costs $109.99. That gap, $165 a month or close to $2,000 a year, is the whole question. If you are about to click "upgrade", here is what the published sources say the extra money buys.

One warning up front. Seeking does not publish a simple public comparison chart of its tiers, and the third-party reviews that describe them do not fully agree with each other. Where they disagree, we say so. The upgrade screen inside your own account is the final word, so read it before you pay.

Seeking Premium vs Diamond: the prices

Per DatingScout's Seeking review, with pricing it says was last updated on September 20, 2026:

The same review says subscriptions renew automatically by default, that you need to opt out at least a week before renewal, and that refunds are usually partial, reduced by the time already used. It lists Visa, Mastercard and prepaid cards as payment options, plus Google Play billing inside the Android app.

What Seeking Premium includes

The main thing Premium buys a man is messaging. DatingScout's review says sugar daddies need to upgrade before sending messages. It also says free members can read the first messages in their inbox, which is not quite the same thing, so expect a wall early either way.

Beyond messaging, DatingScout's October 2026 review lists these as Premium features:

• Anonymous browsing, appearing offline and hiding your join date.
• A notification when the person you wrote to reads your message.
• Inbox filters, so messages from people outside your criteria don't reach you.
• No ads.
• Extra search filters, including net worth, income, relationship status, ethnicity and body type.

Other reviewers place some of these, read receipts in particular, in the Diamond tier instead. We could not settle that from public sources. If one feature is the reason you are paying, check that it is listed on the tier you are buying.

What Seeking Diamond adds

Per DatingScout, Diamond does three things on top of Premium:

• A badge. Diamond profiles get a visible badge.
• Higher placement. The review says the site makes sure Diamond profiles rank higher in search.
• Verification. DatingScout says Diamond members' identity and net worth are verified, and that to qualify you should have been a Premium member for at least two months and passed a background check.

That last point matters more than it looks. If DatingScout is right, Diamond is not something you buy on day one. It also says that if you fail the background check, you don't get the badge and the payment is not refunded. Treat that as a reason to read the terms first, not as something to find out afterwards.

Seeking's own homepage, as of October 2026, says members are not subject to mandatory background screenings, and that background checks and ID verification are optional. So a profile without a Diamond badge is not a red flag in itself. Plenty of genuine men simply have not paid for it.

The $165 question: what the gap actually buys

Strip it down and the difference between the two tiers is visibility. Premium lets you talk to people. Diamond, by the published descriptions, makes more people see you and gives them a signal that you passed a check.

Whether that is worth $165 a month depends on one thing: is your problem that nobody sees you, or that nobody replies?

Say you have been on Premium for a month in a big city. You have sent thirty thoughtful messages and had a handful of good conversations. Your limit is time, not attention. Diamond's placement and badge might push you higher in a crowded search, and some women do read a verified badge as reassurance. That is the case for upgrading.

Now say you have sent thirty messages and heard almost nothing back. Diamond is unlikely to fix that. A thin profile, a weak first photo or a copy-paste opener will still be thin, weak and copy-pasted with a badge on top. Fix the profile first; it is free.

Who Premium suits

• Men who want to message on Seeking and are comfortable with the price.
• Men in large cities, where Seeking's size gives it the most profiles to choose from.
• Men who want to try Seeking for a short stretch. The 30-day term costs more per day, but it limits what you have committed if it doesn't work for you.
• Men who value the extra search filters and inbox filters more than a badge.

Who Diamond suits

• Men who have already been on Premium for at least two months and are getting replies, but want more people to see them.
• Men who want a verified badge and are comfortable with the background check DatingScout describes.
• Men for whom $3,300 a year is not a meaningful amount. That is a real group, and for them the question is just whether the badge helps.

Who should buy neither yet

If you have not spent a week browsing on the free account, don't buy anything. Seeking's homepage says it is free to join. Use that to check whether there are people in your area, or in the cities you travel to, who you would actually want to write to.

If you plan to message only a few carefully chosen people a month, a monthly subscription may not be the right shape for you at all. Credit-based sites charge per conversation instead. More on that below.

How it compares with paying elsewhere

The honest counterweight: Seeking is far bigger than Arranged. Its homepage says it has millions of members worldwide. Arranged launched in 2026 and is much smaller. If there is nobody near you or in the cities you visit, a lower price doesn't help.

Before you upgrade on Seeking

• Read the upgrade screen for the exact features on that tier. Sources disagree on where some features sit.
• Note the renewal date. DatingScout says you need to opt out a week before it.
• Cancel in your account settings, not by deleting the app. DatingScout notes that uninstalling does not cancel the subscription.
• Keep your receipt and the date you cancelled.
• Expect partial refunds at best if you change your mind mid-term.

How Arranged's tiers work, briefly

Premium, $49.99 a month or $499 a year, lets men read and send messages, hide from search and hide their income.
