Is Seeking Arrangement Down? Why It Won't Load (2026)
Seeking won't load, the app disappeared, or your account is suddenly gone. Before you panic, here's what's actually going on — and what you can do about it.
Quick answer: Seeking probably isn't down. Usually it's one of four things: there is no iPhone app to find, your account was suspended or closed, your network or browser is the problem, or there's a short outage. You can tell which in about two minutes.

You open Seeking. Nothing loads. Or it loads but your account is gone. Or you can't find the app at all. You search "is Seeking down" and land on an old Reddit thread that doesn't help.
When people search for "Seeking Arrangement down," the cause is usually not a site-wide outage. It's one of a few other problems that feel like one. Here's how to tell them apart.
There is no Seeking app on the iPhone App Store
This is the most common source of confusion. Per DatingScout's October 2026 review, Seeking is not available for iOS after Apple removed it from the App Store, and the Android app is on Google Play. We haven't found a public statement from Apple or Seeking giving the date or the guideline cited, so treat any confident account of exactly when or why with caution.
What this means in practice: on an iPhone, you use seeking.com in Safari or another browser. It works for browsing, messaging and managing your subscription. You can add it to your home screen for a one-tap shortcut, but it's still the website. On Android, get the app from Google Play by following the link from seeking.com, not from a search result.
If someone sends you a link to download a "Seeking app" from a third-party site, don't install it. An app file from an unknown source can be a copycat built to collect your login or payment details. More in our guide to whether there's a Seeking app for iPhone.
Your account was suspended or closed
This one catches people off guard, because it can look exactly like the site being down: the login loops, an error appears, or the page never finishes loading.
Seeking's terms let it terminate a membership "for any reason, with or without notice," so an account can close without a specific explanation. Its FAQ also describes temporary holds while it asks for verification, which are different from a ban. Here's how to tell what you're dealing with:
- Check DownDetector. No spike in reports usually means the site is working for everyone else, and the problem is specific to you.
- Open seeking.com in a private browser window without logging in. If the homepage loads but your login fails, the issue is your account, not the site.
- Check your email, including spam and promotions. A suspension or verification request may be sitting there.

Actual outages
Real outages happen on every large site. If the site is down for everyone:
- DownDetector will show a spike. A sudden jump in reports in the last hour is the quickest confirmation.
- Others will be posting about it. Search "Seeking down" on X or Reddit and sort by recent.
- Wait it out. Refreshing every 30 seconds won't speed anything up. Check back in an hour.
If DownDetector is quiet but the site still won't load, try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or the other way round. That rules out a problem on one network.
Network blocks when you travel or at work
Some countries filter dating sites at the network level, and some workplace and campus networks block them too. If Seeking works on mobile data but not on a particular Wi-Fi network, that network is probably blocking the domain.
Be careful with workarounds. Getting around a country's block can break local law, and on many sites a login from an unexpected place triggers extra security checks. If you're abroad and the site is blocked, wait until you're home.
Browser and cache problems that look like outages
Sometimes the problem is entirely on your device. Stale cached data can leave a modern site stuck on a blank page or a loading loop.
- Clear cookies and cached data for seeking.com.
- Try a different browser.
- Turn off extensions, especially ad blockers, and reload.
- Open a private window and try again.
If it loads in a private window but not in your normal one, the cause is cached data or an extension. Clearing cookies for the site usually fixes it.
Charged while you can't get in?
Seeking's terms say a terminated member is not entitled to a refund of unused subscription fees. DatingScout (October 2026) says subscriptions renew automatically, that you need to opt out a week before renewal, and that refunds, when given, are usually partial. If you were charged after your account closed, contact support first and keep a record. A card dispute is a real option for a charge you didn't authorize, but it can also end the account for good. If you're done with Seeking
If your account is closed, your appeal went nowhere and you've decided it isn't worth more of your time, that's a reasonable place to land.
Seeking is still the biggest name in this space, and in many cities it has the most profiles. If you want to look elsewhere, Arranged lets everyone browse full profiles, like, match and see who liked you for free. Women are free. Men pay to message: Premium is $49.99 a month or $499 a year, against $109.99 a month for Seeking Premium (DatingScout, pricing updated September 20, 2026). Photo verification is optional, a live selfie checked automatically for a face and apparent age.
The trade-off is plain: Arranged launched in 2026 and is much smaller, especially outside major US cities. Browse for a week before you pay anyone, us included.
