Best Sugar Dating Sites for Men in 2026: What Each One Actually Costs You
Every comparison in this category is written for the side that pays nothing. This one is written for the side that pays. Real monthly costs, what verification you get for them, and how to work out cost per actual conversation before you subscribe.

You are the side that pays, which means the only number that matters is not the monthly price. It is the monthly price divided by the number of real conversations it produces.
Deepest pool: Seeking, at $109.99 a month. Best cost per verified conversation: Arranged at $49.99, if you are in one of the cities we are actually in. Cheapest if you message rarely: Secret Benefits credits. Fastest to an actual date: WhatsYourPrice. Full arithmetic below.
Disclosure: this is published by Arranged, one of the platforms compared here. We have tried to be useful rather than flattering to ourselves, and we say plainly below where we are the wrong choice.
Almost every ranking of sugar dating platforms is written for women, which makes commercial sense and makes it close to useless if you are the man deciding where to put his card details. The free side is evaluating scenery. You are evaluating a purchase.
So the questions change. Not "which site is best" but what a month actually costs, what that month buys in people who might reply, and how much of what you are being shown is real. Those are answerable, and this is the answer as of September 2026.
Why men pay and women do not, on every platform in the category
Worth understanding the economics before comparing prices, because it explains almost everything else.
Every significant platform in this space is free for women and paid for men. Arranged, Seeking, Secret Benefits, WhatsYourPrice, SugarDaddyMeet, SugarDaddy.com, all of them. A dating platform with no women on it has nothing to sell, so the scarce side gets in free and the paying side funds the whole thing.
Two consequences follow. The first is that the ratio genuinely tilts your way. Because signing up costs women nothing, more women sign up than men. On our own platform the split runs close to two women for every man, and we would expect something broadly similar anywhere the pricing works this way. That is a better ratio than any mainstream dating app will ever give you.
The second is less comfortable. Free signup is a low-effort act, so registered accounts and active members are wildly different numbers, and every platform quotes you the first one. Seeking's 40 million registered accounts is a real figure and a nearly meaningless one, in the way that a gym's membership list is not the number of people in the gym on a Tuesday.
Quick comparison: the main platforms from the paying side
| Platform | What a man pays | Verification | Where the members are | Best for |

| Secret Benefits | Credits: $59 / 100, $169 / 500, $289 / 1,000 | Photo only, no income check | Major US metros | Men who message selectively |

How to work out cost per conversation before you subscribe
This is the calculation almost nobody does, and it reorders the table considerably.
On a healthy platform in a decent-sized city, ten thoughtful opening messages produce three or four replies within a week. That is a normal rate, not a poor one, and we have written about what separates an opener that gets answered from one that does not. Assume thirty messages a month, because most men do not send more.
At $109.99, Seeking Premium works out to roughly eleven dollars per conversation that goes anywhere. At $49.99, Arranged Premium works out to around five. Secret Benefits is different arithmetic entirely: unlocking a conversation costs ten credits, so on the 100-credit pack at $59 you are paying about $5.90 every time you open a thread, and on the 1,000-credit pack at $289 about $2.89. Cheap if you open ten threads a month. Considerably more than Seeking if you open sixty.
WhatsYourPrice sits outside this model. You pay to bid, then you pay the accepted bid, then you pay for dinner. Accepted bids in major US cities land in the low hundreds, so a single evening can cost more than a month anywhere else. Not a criticism, just what the product is.
The same arithmetic explains why Seeking's Diamond tier is hard to defend. At $274.99 you pay an extra $165 over Premium for a badge, read receipts and slightly better search placement, and read receipts come standard in the base tier elsewhere. Our full Seeking review goes through what Diamond adds.
Seeking: the deepest pool and the largest bill
Seeking is still the default, and for a specific kind of man it is still the right answer. If you live outside a major American city, travel internationally, or sit in a market where newer platforms have nobody at all, volume beats everything and nothing else here has volume like Seeking. Forty million registered accounts across 130 countries is a real advantage even after you discount the figure heavily.
What you are buying alongside it is worth knowing. Income verification is optional, so a profile claiming a large income has proved nothing, and neither has yours. There is no iOS app, because Apple removed it, leaving iPhone users on the mobile website. And the moderation system has a long habit of flagging the vocabulary the platform was built around, which is odd to navigate on a service costing over a hundred dollars a month.
Worth it if you need the reach. Expensive if you do not.
Arranged: cheaper and verified, and much smaller than Seeking
Ours, so treat it accordingly, and the limitation comes first because it decides the question for a lot of readers.
We launched in 2026. Our membership is concentrated in a handful of US cities, New York by a wide margin the deepest, and in a smaller market you will find far fewer people here than on Seeking. That is a real gap and no feature closes it. Search your city before you pay us anything. We let you browse every profile in full without a card so you can.
Where we are genuinely better is price and what it includes. Premium is $49.99 a month and Diamond $99.99, against $109.99 and $274.99. Photo verification is required rather than optional, which is the one check that confirms the person in the pictures is the person typing. Income verification is available for successful members, so you can prove the thing nobody can prove on a platform where nothing is verified. And arrangement types sit on the profile, so both people know the shape of what they want before the first message rather than three dates in.
In New York the arithmetic favours us. In a city we have not reached it does not, and we would rather say so than take a month's subscription from you.
Secret Benefits: cheap if you are selective, expensive if you are not
The credit model suits a particular man: the one who browses carefully, opens five or ten conversations a month, and resents paying a subscription in the months he travels. For him it is comfortably the cheapest option here.
For the man who messages widely it is the most expensive, and the mechanism is unforgiving, because credits spent on a message that is never answered are simply gone. Photo verification only, no income check, so you do more of your own screening than on a verification-first platform.
WhatsYourPrice: you are buying a date, not a membership
The bidding model is the most misunderstood product in this space. You bid an amount for a first date, she accepts, declines or counters, and if she accepts you exchange details and meet. The bid secures attendance and nothing beyond it. Men who read it as anything else have a bad evening and then write an angry review.
It solves one problem extremely well: the man who has paid a subscription for four months and met nobody. It solves nothing for the man who wants something ongoing, because the product ends at the first date and you rebuild everything after that yourself. Our WhatsYourPrice review goes into where the costs stack up.
MillionaireMatch: the best income verification, and probably the wrong product
Worth including because men search for it constantly and then get frustrated, always for the same reason. MillionaireMatch is not a sugar dating platform. It is a millionaire dating platform built around conventional relationships that happen to involve wealthy people, and much of its membership is looking toward marriage.
Its income verification is the most substantial in the category, a manual documentation review rather than a dropdown, and if verified wealth on both sides is what you want that is a real differentiator. If you want a defined arrangement with stated expectations, you will spend the subscription discovering the membership wants something else. We covered the distinction in our MillionaireMatch review.
The regional platforms, and why geography decides them
Two platforms come up often enough to address, and for both the answer is location rather than product.
Sugarbook is concentrated in Southeast Asia. In Kuala Lumpur or Singapore it is a serious regional option; in Chicago or Manchester the pool is thin, and at around $71.95 a month you pay more than Arranged for a fraction of the local membership. It also carries real regulatory history, including a block in Malaysia and the arrest of its founder there in 2021.
RichMeetBeautiful is continental European, strongest in the Nordics, France and Germany, reported at roughly $39.99 to $69.90 a month depending on term. Genuinely cheaper than Seeking, and genuinely smaller, with lighter verification and an advertising history that ended in a criminal conviction for its founder in Belgium, where the site remains blocked. For North America it is not competitive.
How to tell whether a platform's traffic is real before you pay
Four checks, none of which take more than ten minutes, and all of which tell you more than any review including this one. We go through them in more detail in our guide to which sugar dating sites are actually real.
Search your own city before paying. If a platform will not show you who is nearby until you subscribe, you have your answer. A site confident in its membership lets you look first.
Look for last-active data. Present and recent is good. A platform that hides it made a deliberate choice, and rarely a generous one, because dormant accounts inflate the headline number and cost you messages.
Check whether photos are verified, specifically whether a human confirmed the face against the pictures. That badge is worth more than every other trust signal combined, and its absence is why fakes accumulate on platforms that are otherwise well run.
Then message ten people and wait a week. Under two replies means the membership is not what the headline number implies. Do this before the second month, not after the sixth.
So which one should you actually pay for
In a major US metro, wanting verification as standard at half of Seeking's price: start with Arranged, and check your city first. Outside the US, in a smaller market, or travelling: Seeking's reach is worth the premium and nothing comes close. Messaging five people a month rather than fifty: Secret Benefits credits are cheaper than either. Months subscribed somewhere without meeting anybody: WhatsYourPrice fixes that specific failure and no other.
Since browsing is free nearly everywhere, the sensible play is to run two at once for a month and put your money where the replies are. We went through the wider field in our ranking of the best sugar dating sites, and our guide to sugar dating for men over 40 covers the profile and first-date side.

Frequently asked questions
Which sugar dating site is best for men in 2026?
It depends on where you live more than on any feature. In major US cities, Arranged offers required photo verification at $49.99 a month against Seeking's $109.99 with optional verification. Outside the US or in smaller markets, Seeking's reach across 130 countries makes it the only option with real depth, and the premium is worth paying for that alone.
How much does sugar dating cost a man per month?
The subscription is the smaller number. Premium tiers run from $49.99 on Arranged to $109.99 on Seeking, with Seeking's Diamond tier at $274.99. Credit platforms vary with use: Secret Benefits charges ten credits per conversation unlocked, which is about $5.90 on the $59 pack. On top of that sit the dates themselves, and any allowance you and your partner agree, which is a separate conversation entirely.
Do men outnumber women on sugar dating sites?
No, and this is the category's structural advantage for men. Because women join free and men pay, more women sign up on every major platform. On Arranged the split runs close to two women for every man. The caveat is that free signup also means registered accounts overstate activity everywhere, so judge by replies rather than by any headline member count.
Which sugar dating site has the best verification?
For photo verification, the platforms that require it rather than offering it, which is the check that confirms the person in the pictures is the person typing. For income verification specifically, MillionaireMatch runs the most substantial process in the category, a manual documentation review rather than a self-selected dropdown, though it is a conventional dating platform rather than an arrangement one.
Is Seeking worth $109.99 a month?
Worth it if you need the reach. It has the largest membership in the category and works in cities where newer platforms have nobody. Harder to justify if you are in a major US metro where a verification-first platform at half the price has enough members, given that income verification on Seeking is optional and there is no iOS app. Our full review goes through what the money buys.
Is it cheaper to pay per message or pay monthly?
Per message, if you open fewer than about ten conversations a month. Monthly, if you open more. Work out honestly how often you message before choosing, because men consistently overestimate how selective they will be and then discover the credit model cost them double what a subscription would have.
Should I pay for more than one platform at once?
Not at first. Browse free on two or three, message ten people on each, and only subscribe where the replies came from. Paying two subscriptions before you know which market is real is the most common and most avoidable mistake men make in this category.
