Deleting your account

From the app

1. 1. Open Settings.
2. 2. Choose Delete account.
3. 3. Enter your password to confirm.

The password step is there so that someone with momentary access to an unlocked phone cannot delete your account.

From the website

Sign in and go to Settings, then Account, then Delete account.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@getarranged.io from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is yours before we do anything, and we aim to complete requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

All of it, not just the visible parts:

• · Your profile, and every photo, removed from our image storage as well as the database
• · Every message you have sent and every conversation you were part of
• · Your matches, likes given and received, and profile views
• · Your account, email address and password
• · Notification preferences and any device push tokens

An active subscription is cancelled as part of the process.

What we keep, and why

One record of the deletion itself — the date, and that an account was deleted — with no personal data in it beyond your email provider. We keep it because being able to show that a deletion request was honoured is part of honouring it.

If you had been reported for fraud or abuse, we may retain the report so that the same person cannot immediately return. That is the only exception, and it holds the report rather than your profile.

This cannot be undone

There is no grace period and no recovery. Deleting removes the data immediately rather than deactivating the account, so signing up again later starts you from nothing. If you only want a break, hiding your profile in Settings takes you out of Discover without destroying anything.
